You probably noticed a visual change on orkut today. It's the new top bar! We've made some visual improvements not only to make your pages look prettier, but also more cleaner and similar to other Google products:

Scraps become conversations From now on, all scraps you send to your friends will also show up in your profile, making it easy to start new conversations. You can join a conversation already going on by simply adding a comment to it, and the entire conversation will start showing up on your profile too, so you won't miss a thing. If you start a new conversation by sending a public scrap to a friend, it will show up both on your profile page and on your friend's, so both of you won't miss any replies. This also lets your friends leave comments and join the conversation as well. Once a third person joins your conversation by posting a comment, the entire conversation will also show up on his profile, so others can get the conversation going too. The same will happen if you comment on a friend's video or public photo, for example. This way even more people can join in and comment! Of course, you can also click the "scraps to me" link to see only scraps...

This is a cool trick wich many onf the  orkut users dont know

You might have seen some music players and songs bieng played on some users profile with some simple steps you also can post music in your profile

Adding video to your orkut about me column is easy as taking a candy from a baby =D what you have to do is goto Orkut.com then navigate to your orkut profile then edit then copy paste the video URL in the about me column and click on save So easy right but I think most of the orkut user don't know about this =P

I was always thinking of sending html testimonial to my friends and finally when i got invited to New Orkut by my best friend Rizwan one of the coolest and smartest dude in orkut and i started learning about New Orkut's features by trial and error method i tried to post html by typing html codes in testimonial and it didn't worked out as i planed then one day i just copied and pasted one of the picture in my album in a friends testimonial column and it worked out

This facility is only available only for New orkut users what u have to do is type html character in your scrap book and post it or preview it then just copy it and paste it in your about me column easy method is to click your profile (in the top left corner) and type html coding in
