A QR code is a martix code created by Japanese corporation Denso-Wave in 1994. The QR stands for "Quick Response" , as the creator intended the code to allow its contents to e decorded at a very high speed, it was initially used for tracking parts in manufacturing, now QR code are used for various pourpose such as an alternative to Uniform Resource Locator (URL) and as text , mobile phone number,text message, email address, vcard etc..
