A faster way to message on mobile.. Facebook Messenger!

Today Facebook has launched a new Messenger which helps to simplify how messages work, and gives you a faster way to message youre friends and small groups 
messenger is a separate app so using single and click you can send receive new messages. And these messages are delivered as notifications and texts so you're friends are more likely to get it right away.

i strongly believe that this will soon replace the default text message service , what do you think about it ?

    My only dislike is that I cannot turn off the notification chime when i get messages. My phone lives in silent mode.except when this notifies meDroidx
